Flora Irene "Pinky" Jackson

Flora Irene Jackson affectionately known as "Pinky" by family and friends was born on April 27, 1956. She was the 7th of 8 children born to Ada L. and Clarence C. Smith, Sr.
Pinky worked for White Packing Company in King George, VA, for a number of years. She also babysat several of her nieces and nephews; one that she held dearly to her heart is India Harvey. She also cared for her mother-in law, Ms. Irene Jackson, for a short while. She lived life day by day with a long illness until she was called home.
She was joined in holy matrimony to Wayne O. Jackson, Sr. To this union, two sons were born: Patrick E. Smith and Wayne (JJ) O. Jackson, Jr.
Pinky was preceded in life by two brothers: Wilbur J. Smith, Sr., and Charles W. Smith.
She leaves to cherish fond memories; her husband Wayne; Two sons Patrick E. Smith (Michelle), and Wayne (JJ) O. Jackson, Jr., both of King George, VA.; two grandchildren; Brittany Brown and William Armstead; one Goddaughter; Lena Johnson; four brothers; Michael K. Smith of Upper Marlboro, MD, Clarence C. Smith, Jr. (Martha), George S. Smith (Etrulia), and Donald R. Smith (Lavern); one sister, Joyce Y. Roy (Earl), all of King George, VA; four sisters-in law; Delores Smith, Phyllis Pollard (Carl), Lillian Jackson, and Gladys Jackson; two brothers-in law; James Jackson and Don Jackson (Sandra); three very special friends: Hazel Baylor, Florene Byrd, and Ruth "Net" Johnson; and one special niece, Levita Ware; She had a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends that she loved dearly.
